2 dead, 7 injured in Helmand collision

LASHKARGAH (PAN): Two people were killed and seven others sustained injuries when a police pick-up crashed into a car in the Nahr-i-Saraj district of southern Helmand province, an official said on Thursday.

The collision at around 8pm on Wednesday took place in the Shandak area, traffic department head Maj. Khair Mohammad Shuja told Pajhwok Afghan News.

The dead included a civilian and a policeman, he said, adding one civilian and six policemen were among the injured.
