KABUL): Noted Afghan astrologist Abdullah Kandahari on Wednesday predicted a partial lunar eclipse will take place on Thursday night (April 25).

The eclipse could be seen for 29 minutes, the first of three lunar eclipses that would occur in 2013, Kandahari said, adding it would be visible in countries with clear skies.

He said it would be the shortest partial eclipse of the moon for the 21st century, beginning at 12:23 am and lasting 52 minutes.
