KABUL highlighted the common culture of regional countries besides boosting ties among them.
Speaking to participants of a Nawroz ceremony here, he said regional countries could achieve their development goals if they honestly cooperated and adopted a non-interference policy.
Happy over the Nawroz celebration in Kabul, he said extremism disrupted cultural values of the people. It was the responsibility of everyone to support efforts to eliminate the scourge, he stressed.
Rahmonov called for the promotion of equality and development in regional countries. “We should clear our hearts of enmity and negative thoughts about each other.”
Calling prejudice a problem, he said: “I want Afghan brothers to struggle against it and work for the development of their country and promote education.”
