KABUL (Pajhwok): Two rockets fired by militants hit the Kabul International Airport on Thursday but no casualties were reported, an official said.
The attack occurred at around 11: 00 am, Brig. Gen. Gul Agha Pacha, crime branch chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News. However, he had no information about any damage caused to the airport by the attack.
Wishing anonymity, an official at the airport said one of the rockets hit the military section of the airport but missed the exact target. He said the second rocket landed away from the main installations.
The latest rocket attack prompted the airport authority to bolster security in and around the airport.
