LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): With the completion of construction work, a 30-bed hospital costing $10 million has been handed over to the 215th Maiwand Military Corps for an official said on Friday.
Gen. Farooq Parwani told Pajhwok Afghan News on that the hospital had been completed in three months with the financial cooperation of the US Marine Corps.
The hospital, he said, was equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The construction work was supervised by American engineers.
Construction work on another 50-bed facility funded by the Ministry of Defence was underway, he added. The new facility will help resolve problem of thousands of people.
