KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Three people, including a commander of the Afghan Local Police (ALP), were wounded in a bomb attack in southern Kandahar province on Sunday.
Samim Khpalwak, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the bomb exploded near the Aslam Jan shrine in Panjwai district at about 1pm.
He said the explosives placed in a rickshaw went off at a time when ALP Commander Agha Jan was passing by. Two civilians were also injured in the bombing.
