PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Unknown gunmen shot dead a senior woman’s affairs department official in central Logar province on Sunday, an official said.
Nazrab Shah, finance section head at the Women’s Affairs Department, came under attack in Qala-i-Saidan locality of Baraki Barak district, the department head told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Shaima Zargar said Shah had been working with the department since a decade.
Mohammad Rahim Amin, the Baraki Barak administrative head, said police had opened their investigation into the incident.
Ezatullah, a local resident, said Nazrab Shah was an elderly man and it wasn’t clear who killed him.
