KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): At least three people, including two policemen, were wounded in an explosion in southeastern Khost province on Thursday, an official said.
The incident took place at around 10:00am near Ghazi Babrak Khan Park on the outskirts of Khost City, the provincial capital, security officials who wished to go unnamed said.
The planted mine hit police patrol in the area, the injured had been shifted to the hospital.
Abdul Malik, an eyewitness, said the explosion was not of heavy nature and he saw the injured policemen being shifted to the hospital for treatment.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the explosion.
