KABUL (Pajhwok): One person was killed and ten others wounded in a traffic accident on the Kabul-Kandahar highway in central Maidan Wardak province on Tuesday, an official said.
Toryalai Himmat, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident happened at around 6:00am in the Dasht Toap locality.
A coaster traveling from Kabul to Ghazni province crashed head-on with a car, leaving one passenger dead and another 10 wounded.
He said the injured had been transferred to hospitals in Maidan Shahr, the provincial capital, and Syedabad district.
