4 officials bailed out in Masnour ID documents case

KABUL Akhtar Mansour under the alias Wali Mohammad.

The US and Afghan authorities had said a vehicle carrying Mansour was targeted by a US drone in Pakistan’s Balochistan province on May 21.

After his death, media reports said Mansour possessed Pakistani identity card and passport in the fake name of Wali Mohammad and had visited other countries many times to using them.

The Pakistan Ministry of Interior had ordered an investigation into how the Taliban leader obtained the ID documents.
