KABUL (Pajhwok): Two doctors have been kidnapped by suspected militants in northwestern Badghis province, authorities said on Thursday.
Working for the Public Health Department, the doctors were kidnapped on their way to a clinic in Qadis district, a state from the provincial government’s media office said.
A search operation has been mounted for the doctors’ recovery, according to the statement, which blamed the Taliban for the kidnapping. But the militants have not yet commented.
