KABUL CITY (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead two policemen in the limits of eighth police district in the capital city of Kabul, an official said on Tuesday.
Abdul Basir Mujahid, spokesman for the 101 Azmei police zone, told Pajhwok Afghan News, the incident took place in the Benisar locality on Monday evening.
“The policemen were sitting around of flames of fire to warm themselves when unknown gunmen opened firing at them,” he said.
The assailants managed to escape from the scene but search had been launched to arrest them, he added.
