Musharikat party demands action against Mohaqiq

KABUL party on Thursday condemned deputy CEO Mohammad Mohaqiq’s recent remarks about Afghans partaking in Syrian war.

Mohaqiq had reported praised Gen. Qasim Sulaiman, a leader of Lashkar-i-Fatimyun in Syria and Afghans who fought in the war at a meeting in Tehran.

Sulaiman is one of the founders of Fatimiyun Brigade in Syria and has encouraged Afghan refugees in Iran to take part in the Syrian war.

Najibullah Kabuli, leader of the Hez-i-Musharikat-i-Milli slammed Mohaqiq’s remarks at a press conference here as against Afghanistan’s interests.

“Mohaqiq should be blacklisted and his accounts in all internal and external banks should be closed.”

He claimed Mohaqiq received money from Iran against encouraging Afghans to fight in the Syrian war and work for Iran against their own system.

Kabuli showed evidence about some Afghans who were introduced to the Iran Embassy for visa.

“Whenever a party or an official introduces someone to an embassy for visa, it should be done through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but Mohaqiq has close relations with the Iran Embassy and is introducing the youth to get visa and participate in the war in Syria.”

“The youth who went to Syria on Mohaqiq’s advise had committed war crimes. The Afghan government should abolish the Hizb-i-Wahdat Mardum-Milli Afghanistan and introduce the deputy CEO to the court of law to set him an example for others,” said Kabuli.

Pajhwok tried to contact the deputy CEO office for comment, but failed.

Both Wolesi Jirga have condemned the remarks of Mohaqiq.
