GARDEZ (Pajhwok): President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, accompanied by a number of ministers, arrived in southeastern Paktia province on Sunday.
The president will meet officials of the 203rd Thunder Military Corps besides addressing a gathering in Gardez, the provincial capital.
Ghani will inaugurate a power sub-station, the Gardez-Zurmat road, a township for families of martyrs, teachers and government servant.
He would also inaugurate the Paktia industrial park and the building for a new police headquarters during his trip.
