PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): The Pashtun spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan and former military dictator Pervez Musharraf to justice.
Manzoor Pashteen, the PTM leader, said that bringing police officer Rao Anwar, charged with killing Naqeebullah Mehsud, to justice was the first goal of the movement.
He told a highly charged rally in the port city of Karachi last night: “In the next phase, Taliban leader Ehsanullah Ehsan and Gen. Pervez Musharraf will be taken on.”
Apart from Pakhtuns, people from other communities and relatives of missing persons also attended the public meeting, where white flags were visible all around.
Pashteen vowed his peaceful struggle to bring peace to the tribal lands and reunion of missing persons with their families would continue. Though the journey to justice was hard and long, yet they would continue it until, he remarked.
“Our first target is Rao Anwar. We’ll also struggle peacefully to get Ehsanullah Ehsan and Pervez Musharraf punished. We’ll do this all by adhering to the Constitution.”
