PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): An influential Pakistani cleric has hailed the Trump administration’s offer of direct talks with the Afghan Taliban.

The US should acknowledge the fact the Taliban were a political and military reality in the conflict-torn country, he said in a statement on Wednesday.
The JUI-S chief also underlined the need for finding a way of an honourable US pullout from Afghanistan.
