ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Local officials on Friday said a prayer leader was killed by unidentified armed men in Chakhansor district of southwestern Nimroz province.
Habibullah Asad, Chakhansor district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Mullah to his home around 8am Thursday evening.
The attackers managed to flee, he said, adding that the Imam had no any connections with the government.
On the other hand, Mohammad Seddiq, brother-in-law of the Imam, said his uncle was killed when was moving to his home last night.
He said that his uncle had no any personal enmity and asked the government to arrest the perpetrators of the murder and take them to justice.
