HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): The administrative chief for Kahsan district of western Herat province was killed along with two other people in an explosion inside his office on Saturday, an official said.
Govenror’s spokesman, Jailani Farhad, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Haji Amir Haft Bala, the Kahsan district chief, was killed when an explosion happened in his office around 2:30pm today.
He said two other people were also killed in the incident. However, Farhad did not identifythe two other deceased, but said investigations were underway to find the perpetrators.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
