KABUL (Pajhwok): Four people were killed as a suicide bomber hit security forces’ convoy in the Paghman district of Kabul on Tuesday morning.
Najib Danish, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior (MoI), said the bombing took place at 9:20am when the security forces’ convoy was passing through the area. Four people were killed, he added.
Nasrat Rahimi, deputy spokesman for the MoI, said the bomber targeted the convoy in the Bala Chinar area of the scenic district.
Another security source, wishing anonymity, verified the bomb attack on the security force took place in Bala Chinar at 9am.
