KABUL peace process, a statement from the Presidential Palace said on Wednesday.
The Netherlands minister made the assurance during a meeting with President Ashraf Ghani, a statement from the palace said.
It said both the sides discussed the security situation in Afghanistan and ties between the two countries in areas of defense, agriculture and trade.
They conferred on the Afghanistan peace process and government reforms, the statement said.
President Ghani thanked the Netherlands for its cooperation and support to Afghanistan in different fields, including infrastructure and security under the framework of NATO’s Resolute Support mission.
The Dutch defense minister renewed her country’s support to an Afghan led and owned peace process.
She hailed the Afghan government’s efforts at bringing reforms, peace and giving special attention to women’s rights.
“The people and the government of Netherlands will stand by Afghanistan,” she pledged.
