GHAZNIC CITY (Pajhwok): Eight people, including women and children, sustained injuries when the passenger bus they were travelling in overturned due to icy road condition in southern Ghazni province on Wednesday, an official said.
The incident occurred in Roza Kotal area of Ghazni city, the provincial capital, Hekmat Masood, Ghazni traffic director, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He added a 303 model bus slipped from the road and crashed due to icy condition following snow. Five people were injured in the incident, he concluded.
However, Civil Health Hospital Director Dr. Baz Mohammad Himat told Pajhwok that eight injured people, including two women and as many children, had been delivered to the hospital from the scene.
He said the women and children were discharged after treatment.
