KABUL (Pajhwok): Police personnel rescued a two-year-old child and detained two suspects in connection with the abduction in western Herat province on Thursday, an official said.
Police spokesman Abdul Ahad Walizada told Pajhwok Afghan News that security forces were rescued the child from abductors in Kart-i-Gulkhana area of the Injil district today morning.
He said the minor child had been abducted by a husband and his wife from the limits of 3rd police district of Herat City, the provincial capital on Wednesday.
According to Walizada, the kidnappers were detained and they confessed abducting children in the area from long ago.
