A copy of the president order is available with Pajhwok Afghan News that says Attaullah Ludin was appointed as senator in line with article 84 of the constitution, replacing Bakhtar Aminzai.
Dr. Abdul Muqtadar Nasiri, secretariat head of Meshrano Jirga, confirmed the president’s decision on appointing Attaullah Ludin as member of the Jirga. Ludin will be introduced after the parliament begins.
Aminzai had been selected as senator by President Ghani seven months ago. Maulvi Attaullah Ludin was the member of Wolesi Jirga in 15th term.
