ANA chopper crashes in Kandahar; 2 pilots injured

KABUL (Pajhwok): Two pilots were wounded as an Afghan National Army (ANA) helicopter crashed in southern Kandahar province on Wednesday.

Maj. Sadiq Esa, deputy commander of the 205thAtal Military Corps, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place at the Kandahar Airport at 7am.

He said the MD-530 copter crashed as a result of technical issues. Two pilots were wounded. The helicopter had some technical problem during training and fell before landing.

The injured are said to be in stable condition.
