KABUL (Pajhwok): Kidnapped in Kabul, the son of a provincial council member of southeastern Paktia province has been rescued from his captors, the Ministry of Interior said on Saturday.
The child, Safiullah, had been kidnapped from Qalacha area of Kabul few days back and he was rescued from his captors and three suspects were arrested in connection with the case, MoI spokesman Nasrat Rahimi wrote on his social media account.
A security official, who declined to be identified, said four suspects, including a step uncle of the child, had been arrested over their alleged involvement in kidnapping the son of Sardar Khan.
