KABUL political representatives about two weeks ago has returned to Kabul, the National Security Council (NSC) said on Friday.
The delegation was tasked with holding preliminary talks with the Taliban in Doha and it returned to Kabul to advance other phases of the peace process, the NSA said in a statement, without giving any details.
However, the Taliban had denied meeting the delegation.
The NSA statement said the delegation met with Qatari national security advisor, US, Qatari, UN and German special representatives for Afghanistan and other officials during its stay in Doha.
The Afghan delegates also met with Indonesia foreign minister, German ambassador in Doha and Norway special envoy for Afghanistan.
