Covid-19 cases in Afghanistan rise to 367

KABUL have risen to 369 with the emergence of 30 new cases in various parts of the country, particularly in western Herat province, an official said on Monday.

Dr. Wahidullah Mayar, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), told Pajhwok Afghan News the 30 new cases were registered in Herat, Kabul, Nimroz, Kunduz, Faryab and Daikundi provinces.

Mayar said 16 positive cases were reported in Herat, six in Kabul, three in Nimroz, tow in Kunduz, as many in Faryab and one in Daikundi provinces.

He added the total number of coronavirus patients in the country had reached 367. Eight individuals have so far lost their lives to COVID-19 while another 17 have recovered.
