The diplomat announced India’s support for the agreement between President Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah on ending the months-long political impasse in Kabul.
Kumar also backed efforts to achieve permanent peace and promised continued support from his for Afghanistan, Abdullah wrote on his Twitter account after Wednesday’s meeting.
He said: “We thank India for its permanent help to the people of Afghanistan and focus on the need for regional and international community to achieve peace…”
