KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Three women and a child were killed and another six wounded as result of a roadside bombing in southern Kandahar province on Thursday morning, an official said.
Police spokesman Jamal Nasir Barakzai told Pajhwok Afghan News that a civilian vehicle struck a roadside bomb in the Zalkhan area of Panjwai district at around 9:00am.
He said four people, including three women and a child, were killed and six others wounded in the explosion. He accused the Taliban for planting the landmine, but the movement has not yet commented on the incident.
