KABUL (Pajhwok) The Ministry of Interior on Saturday said at least 67 civilians have been killed and another 179 wounded in Taliban attacks during the past one week across the country.

Tariq Aryan, MoI spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the causalities resulted from Taliban’s 446 attacks in 27 provinces mostly in northern Balkh province.

The Taliban have not yet commented about the government’s claim, but in the past they had rejected such allegations.
