Afghanistan records 30 new Covid-19 cases

KABUL reported on Monday

In a statement the ministry said 165 individuals underwent tests and 30 of them were diagnosed with the virus during the period.

Seventeen cases were reported in Balkh two cases in Kabul, six in Herat, two in Badghis, one in Parwan and two in Kunar.

The total number of cases in Afghanistan stands at 39,074, Total fatalities from the pandemic are 1,444 and recoveries are recorded at 32,576.

As many as 108,756 people have so far been tested in governmental labs. There are 5,054 active Covid-19 cases in the country, according to information from the ministry.

No recovery from the pandemic was reported over the past 24 hours when three individuals lost their lives to the disease.
