JALALABAD (Pajhwok): At least three people were killed and seven others wounded as a result of magnetic bomb blast in eastern Laghman province on Wednesday morning, an official said.
Asadullah Dawlatzai, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the explosion took place in Mehtharlam City, the provincial capital at around 9:20am.
He said three individuals were killed and seven others wounded as the magnetic bomb attached to a police pick-up went off.
A source at Public Health Department confirmed receiving three bodies and seven injured from the blast.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the explosion.
