KABUL (Pajhwok): Police have arrested an 11-member group in Kabul province over alleged extortion from commercial goods, a statement from the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said on Friday.
The group of extortionists was arrested in a tactical operation by security forces in the western Arghandi gate of capital Kabul while asking vehicles with commercial goods for money, the statement said.
Seven Kalashnikovs and two vehicles had been recovered from the detainees. Police launched investigation from detainees.
