QALAT (Pajhwok): A public representative and three otherpeople were injured in a suicide attack in southern Zabul province on Sunday morning.
Provincial Council Chairman Atta Jan Haqbayanwas among the wounded, family sources confirmed to a private TV channel.
The suicide attack took place in Qalat, the provincial capital, soon after Haqbayan left his home for his office, relatives said.
Bo group or individual has so far claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing.
