KABUL (Pajhwok): With their inclusion in the national squad for the ODI series against Ireland, Afghanistan’s top spinners could miss the final of the Big Bash League (BBL).

In BBL, according to India Today, Rashid Khan represents Adelaide Strikers, Mohammad Nabi Melbourne Renegades and Mujeeb ur Rahman Brisbane Heat.

The daily hailed the three as key players for their franchises. They are among the BBL’s famous overseas players.

The three-match series between Afghanistan and Ireland is scheduled to be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on January 18, 21 and 23.

The Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi, adopted by Afghanistan as their home ground, will host all the three matches.
