6 of a family suffocate due to gas leak in Wardak

KABUL (Pajhwok): Six members of a family, including women and children, have died of suffocation due to gas leakage in central MaidanWardak province.

The incident took place in Dadul area of Nerkh district on Monday night.

ErfanRahimi, a resident of the area, told Pajhwok Afghan News that four women and two men lost their lives in the incident the incident that occurred in Etabarkhel village.

“Asad and his mother and Zafar and his wife and two daughters have died.”

Police spokesman Mohammad Hufiani confirmed six members of a family had been killed as a result of gas suffocation in Dadul area of Nerkh district.

He said children and women were among the dead.
