FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): At least four people were killed and three more wounded in a traffic accident in northeastern Badakhshan province, an official said on Thursday.
Eng. Mohammad Din Khwahani, in charge of Faizabad entry points, told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident took place after a vehicle veered off the road and fell into the river on Wednesday evening.
He linked the accident to the drive’s recklessness. The vehicle was its way to Faizabad from Khwahan district.
The victims were evacuated to the Faizabad Civil Hospital by the border police personnel, the official added.
