Husband kills wife; youth found dead in Farah

FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Two people, including a woman, have been killed in western Farah province, an official said on Thursday.

Police Spokesperson Farooq Hazrati said a 24-year-old woman was killed by her husband on Wednesday night at their home in the limits of sixth Police District.

He identified the slain woman as Naghma who died after being hit in the head with a stone. Her husband fled soon after the incident.

According to Hazrati, police recovered body of a 23-year-old young man in the FaridonQala area of Farah City on Thursday morning.

He said the murder took place mysteriously, adding that the body had not been identified yet. The body is sent for forensic test.
