KABUL (Pajhwok): Slovenian troops, part of the NATO-led Resolute Support mission, would leave Afghanistan by the end of August, a media report said on Thursday.

The Slovenian military exit is in line with the NATO/US withdrawal from Afghanistan by 11 September.

On April 14, NAO allies agreed to mirror American plans to start removing troops from the country on May 1 — almost after two decades of war.

Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden have troops in Afghanistan.
