KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Sunday urged people to refrain from get to gathering during Eid-ul-Adha as coronavirus is still threatening and has not fully declined.
Acting Public Health Minister Dr. WaheedMajroh, addressing a press conference here, said coronavirus was on the decline in the country, but warned that since Eid was a social event and people get to gather, there may be chances of the spread of the virus.
He told the masses that positive cases could rise again if health measures are not fully implemented. According to Majroh there was surge in positive coronavirus cases in the neighbouring Pakistan while the 5th wave of the respiratory virus had already began in Pakistan.
He added currently more coronavirus cases are being registered in Zabul, Takhar, Faryab, Herat, Farah, Khost, Paktika and Ghor provinces.
