KABUL (Pajhwok): A mass coronavirus vaccination site has been set up for Afghan evacuees streaming daily into Dulles International Airport in Virginia.
The New York Post reported the Federal Emergency Management Agency had established the site at the Dulles Expo Center.
The White House confirmed the National Disaster Medical System team has started administering the single-dose Johnson & Johnson shots.
Before being sent to various US military bases in New Jersey, Virginia, Wisconsin and Texas, the Afghan evacuees are temporarily housed at the convention center
According to the Associated Press, a second mass vaccination could open soon for evacuees at the Philadelphia International Airport.
