KABUL (Pajhwok): Over 110 new coronavirus cases have been registered in the past 24 and nine people died, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Sunday.
During the past 24 hours 510 suspected cases had been brought to the laboratories for tests in which 111 were positive and this took the total tally of coronavirus cases in the country to 103,534.
Off the new cases 68 people tested positive in Herat, nine each in Balkh, Badakhshan, seven in Baghlan, six in Kabul, five in Zabul, four in Badghis, two in Kunduz and one in Ghor province.
Nine patients suffering from the virus died that took the total number of fatalities to 111,968 nationwide.
