QALAT (Pajhwok): A businessman in southern Zabul province provided food items to 400 vulnerable families.
Haji Abdul Sattar Kochi told Pajhwok Afghan News he provided food assistance after noticing grave economic hardship and other problems faced by people.
He said a survey was conducted to identify the most vulnerable families and then 400 of these families provided the assistance.
Some ulema and youth in the province termed the assistance vital and encouraged other well-off persons to provide assistance to vulnerable people.
