KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): Unidentified individuals have abducted a doctor (dermatologist) in northern Kunduz province, local officials said on Wednesday.
MatiullahRohani, head of the culture and information department, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Husang Rustaqi, a skin specialist, was abducted from Rostaqabad area of Kunduz city on Tuesday evening.
Rohani added that security and intelligence agencies have been working hard to rescue Rustaqi.
Meanwhile, security forces have recently made arrests in connection with such incidents in the north of the country.
