QALA-I-NAW (Pajhwok): A man has been arrested in connection with killing his wife in western Badghis province, an official said on Wednesday.
Deputy police chief Ghawsuddin Afghan told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in the Maida Qul locality of Aab-i-Kamari district.
“The man, who shot dead his spouse on Tuesday, has been arrested by security forces,” the official said, adding the detainee was being interrogated.
The police official said nothing about the motive behind the murder.
