KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Defence says a pilot of the Afghan Air Forces (AAF) has returned to the country along with his family.
After the fall of the previous government in August 2021, dozens of security and defence force personnel, including AAF pilots, had fled the country.
The MoD tweeted on Sunday that one of the pilots and his family had returned to the country from Germany.
“The Defence Ministry calls on all professional Afghans to come back to their homeland and continue working in their fields in a peaceful atmosphere.”
Five Afghan pilots returned to the country earlier.
