GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): The Telecommunication Department says eight new antennas of the Salaam Network have been installed and activated in southern Ghazni province.
Abdul Wali Taib, telecommunication director, told Pajhwok Afghan News they had operationalised some antennas of the Salaam Network in different parts of Ghazni over the past six months.
He said three of the towers had been installed in Ghazni City, the provincial capital, and the remaining five in Maqur, Qarabagh and Malistan districts.
The official added five more antennas were being installed in Ghazni City, Khwaja Omari, Jaghori and Malistan districts.
Abdul Khaliq, a resident of Ghazni City, confirmed activities of the Salam Network had been expanded recently.
