MAIDAN SHAHR: (Pajhwok): A woman was killed and three children injured as a result of lightning in Maidan Shahr, the capital of central Maidan Wardak province, an official said on Wednesday.
Natural Disaster Management Authority Director Mawlavi Faizullah Jalali said the incident happened in the Foladkhana locality at around 2:00 pm on Tuesday.
He said telecommunication towers also not functioning properly since Tuesday due to lightning and heavy rainfall.
