PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen shot dead a young man in the capital of central Logar province, police said on Saturday.
The incident took place in the Hesarak area of Pul-i-Alam city late on Friday.
Police spokesman Ahmadullah Anas told Pajhwok Afghan News that the victim was hailing from Paktia province but living in Logar for the past several years.
He said according to preliminary information, the slain man was killed due to personal enmity.
He said the killers had managed to escape from the area but security forces had launched a manhunt for them.
