PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): At least three individuals have been killed as a result of a traffic accident in northern Baghlan province, an official said on Saturday.
Qari Mohammad Nazir Abidi, Baghlan traffic manager, told Pajhwok Afghan News that three people riding a motorbike collided with a truck in the Baghlan-i-Markazi district on Friday evening.
The three were killed in the collision, he said, adding the accident took place due to the recklessness of the people riding the motorbike.
Abdullah Malang, spokesman for the Public Health Department, said that three injured from a traffic accident were evacuated to hospital.
He said it was yet to be known whether the three were injured in the same accident or in separate incidents.
